Was responsible for the supervision of up to sixteen people who collected data pursuant to toxicological safety evaluations in accordance with FDA, EPA, TSCA, FIFRA and USDA guidelines.  Wrote all Standard Operating Procedures for the compliance of animal husbandry and technical (In-Life) functions.  Other duties were to maintain computer hardware and to solve minor software problems.

Member of Ashland Lions (Noon) since 1994 and since held the offices of Director (six times), Assistant Treasurer (twice) and President (2001-2002). Had 100% perfect attendance for 1996-2012, was Lion of the Year in 2003, received the President 100% Excellence Award in 2003 and 15 Year Old Monarch. In 2007-2008, served as Zone 7 Chairman and served two additional years as District 13-B Newsletter Editor.  Served District 13B as District Governor in 2008-2009 and Multiple District 13 (MD13 - Ohio) as Chair of Council in 2009-2010.  Currently serves MD13 as Chair of the Finance and Long-Range Planning Committee.

 

 

 

 

Ashland County Chapter American Red Cross:

 Served two 3-year terms on the Board of Directors, received 25-year volunteers pin as CPR/First Aid/Basic Life Support instructor. Volunteer of the year - 1994.

 

 Hospice of North Central Ohio:

 Currently in the second year of my third 3-year term on the Board of Directors.  Treasurer of the Board and Chair of the Finance Committee. 

 

Ashland County/City Board of Health:

 Currently President of the County Board and in second year of a 5-year term on the County Board of Directors.  Finance Committee member.  Past president of the City Board.

 

Leadership Ashland:

 A 1994 graduate and currently serving on the Steering Committee.  Was named Alumnus of the year in 2011.

 

 Ashland County United Way:

 Former member of the Allocations Panel and Industrial team.
